Thepedal pad is a releaseably secure mechanism that can be adjusted to maintainits position once you to find a desired tone within the pedals frequency sweep.It is also utilized with upright basses not limited to electric basses!

Use as a Wah-Wah pedal
The StanleyClarke Signature Wah is highly flexible as a wah-wah pedal. It does not affectthe entire frequency range, like many other wah pedals do, which helps preservethe bottom of your sound while using the effect. The pedal feature fourdifferent preshape pass modes, Low-pass, High-pass, Band-pass and BoostedBand-pass. In addition, it offers controls to adjust the Range and Width of theeffect span.

Use as a volume pedal
The pedalhas a switch on the side that desides what happens when you switch off the waheffect. One setting simply bypass the effect, but the other turn theWah pedalinto a Volume pedal when the wah effect is switched off. There’s also anActive/Passive switch on the side, in case you use the pedal with an instrumentwith active electronics.
