The idea was to create a pickup that had the articulateairiness of an old-school P.A.F., but with more growl and sizzle. We designedslightly overwound coils paired with an alnico 5 bar magnet and a miof polepieces that included one row of standard adjustable screws and one row of shorterAllen head screw. What you get is a big, open tone, with a treble emphasis thatkeeps your pick attack sounding articulate at any level of distortion.

Originally designed as a bridge pickup, the 10k Screamin’Demon also works great as a neck pickup when paired with a high outputhumbucker in the bridge. Pair the Screamin’ Demon bridge with the 59 or Jazzmodel neck humbuckers for a great 80s setup.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Screamin’ Demon mediumoutput humbucker pickups use an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottomplate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, are vacuum wapottedfor squeal-free performance, and are available in standard humbucker orTrembucker spacing.
